Iran has scientific exchanges with several countries in the world and sanctions will not affect these relations, Hossein Vatanpour, an official affiliated to the Health Ministry said to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
He said that the international research works are not affected by the hostile diplomatic measures.
Iran's knowledge based products cannot be sanctioned, the official added.
US President Donald Trump announced on May 8 that Washington would pull out of Iran nuclear deal and reinstate nuclear sanctions on Tehran.
This is while most world powers, including Russia, China, and the European Union, have repeatedly stressed that keeping the deal is in the interest of the world peace and security.
