Soroush, a graduate of mechanical engineering from University of Tehran, replaced Mohsen Ghasem Jahroodi.
Srorush who got MA from Sharif University of Technology in the field of financial management had been managing director of Bahman Group from 2011 to 2015.
Earlier, Soroush served in various capacities including member of Society of Iranian Automakers and member of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines.
Saipa is an automaker headquartered in Tehran, Iran. It was established in 1965. Its products in recent years were mostly under-licensed Korean cars and its own engine and range of cars.
The main subsidiaries of Sipa Group are Saipa Diesel, Pars Khodro and Zamyad Co.
