
Ansari made the remarks at the Sixth Iran-Europe banking-trade conference in Tehran.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister said that the foreign ministry is responsible for economic diplomacy and is to coordinate policies and follow up the predicted programs in the foreign arena.
Ansari pointed to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and said, 'In spite of the US non-commitment, Iran has remained committed to its obligations.'
The Iranian deputy foreign minister said because of disconnection of banking relations during imposed sanctions, a gap between Iran and world standards were created, adding, 'Now we are trying to fill the gap.'
He said standards are promoting rapidly in Iran, adding, 'The European states could play a stronger role in Iran's progress by their supports and creating independent banking structures.'
The 6th banking –trade conference of Iran and Europe kicked off here on April 28 and 29, 2018 in Tehran Espinas Palace Hotel.
