About the situation of the oil industry after the departure of the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and Iran's oil sanctions, Amir Hossein Zamaninia said all of the Petroleum Ministry's personnel have been mobilized to counter sanctions. The sale of oil is now the most important priority of the Ministry of Petroleum, so that the oil market of Iran, will be preserved.
He declined to announce the amount of Iranian oil export and said, 'The effort of the oil industry is to supply the country with the maximum sale of oil.
He argued that the National Iranian Oil Company has been able to create innovative mechanisms for selling oil during four decades of sanctions, but unfortunately, the financial pressure of the United States is such that China, India, Japan, South Korea and the rest of the countries that have been exempted from the United States to import Iranian oil and are not willing to buy one barrel more than the exemption they have to buy oil from Iran.
