In the wake of the order issued by Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade on banning imports of 1339 items, the issue have been misused at international level.
Accordingly, the shipping and international transportation companies have ordered all their customers in all countries and also to all representatives to avoid transportation of 1339 items to Iran.
The news created many concerns for transportation firms and the international companies have avoided transiting these goods through Iran.
Based on the statement, the prohibition on 1339 items is not related to foreign transit goods and the list is only subject to the prohibition of the issuance of definitive import licenses to the country, the free zones and special economic zones.
