Minister: Iran's hi-tech can play key role in Syria's reconstruction

He made the remarks in a meeting with Governor General of Semnan province Mohammad Reza Khabbaz.

Kharboutli said that Iran's advanced electricity technology may play important role in reconstructing Syria.

He added that the Iranian companies have advanced technology in manufacturing power and distribution transformers and Syria wants to increase cooperation with Iranian electricity firms.

The Syrian minister said that the aim of his visit to Iran is to see the 17th Exhibition of Iran's Electricity Industry.

The governor general said Semnan province is ready to sign contracts and MoUs with Syria in different dimensions.

Khabbaz added that 'Aria Transfo Company' is among the best in the country and said that it could be effective in reconstruction of Syria after war.
