KRG PM invites Iranian enterprises to operate in Iraqi Kurdistan

Barzani made the remarks in the Iran-KRG economic opportunities meeting on Wednesday.

He emphasized the common interests of Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan Region and expressed readiness for reinforcing ties.

Iraqi Kurdistan supports any attempts to remove obstacles on the way of developing economic relations and paving the way for strategic economic ties between two countries, Barzani said .

Negotiations between Erbil and Baghdad made us solve many problems based on constitutional law, he said.

He also referred to Iran supports of Iraqi and Kurdish people, and underscored creating free trade areas.

KRG is trying to create a free trade area with Iran in Parvizkhan border.

He also urged Iraqi government to support the measure to increase economic interactions between Iran and Iraq.
