Kazakhstan approves building trade zone with Iran

Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Dalenov said the parliament believed that implementation of the deal will help increase export of goods made in Kazakhstan to Iran.

EU has put the number of items covered by the agreement at 502 and Iran at 360, he said.

According to Dalenov, trade exchanges between Iran and Kazakhstan stands at $ 516.

Iran and Economic Union of Eurasia signed the temporary agreement to set up free trade zone in Astana on May 17.

The agreement is also taking its course in Iran and it should be enacted by the Majlis to be enforced.
