
Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari and Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci as the chairmen of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission will inaugurate the upcoming event.
Visiting Shariatmadari in a meeting with Zeybekci underlined inauguration of the exhibition in line with promoting economic exchanges between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two ministers also agreed that the two countries’ joint commission be held in Tehran next month.
Recalling increasing trend of trade between Tehran and Ankara, Shariatmadari said that helping to materialize the objectives of the two countries’ presidents, particularly the target of $ 30 billon exchanges are among the priorities of the commission.
An Iranian trade delegation comprising representatives of technical and engineering firms is also accompanying First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri on his official visit to the country to conclude memoranda of understanding with their Turkish counterparts, the minister said, hoping that the two countries will reach conclusion in the field of mutual cooperation among the engineering firms and serve as complementary to each other in implementing joint projects.
