On the sidelines of the visit, Chairman of Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce Mahmoud Abdel-Hassan Al-Leithi said that there are good capacities for boosting cooperation between Diwaniyah and Khouzestan in various fields, including tourism, agriculture, energy and health.
For her part, Head of Ahvaz Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture Shahla Amouri welcomed elevation of relations between the two Iranian and Iraqi provinces.
She pointed to good trade ties between Iran's Khuzestan and Maysan Governorate as well as Basra Governorate in Iraq, noting that Iran is keen to hold an exhibition in Iraq' Diwaniyah.
Qadisiyah Governorate is in the central-south of neigboring Iraq. Its capital is Diwaniyah.
