Al-Khattabi made the remarks Saturday in a meeting with Iranian envoy to Iraq Iraj Masjedi while visiting Iran's Kalleh Dairy branch in Iraq.
The presence of Iranian companies in Iraq causes development and creates job opportunities in Iraq, he said.
Karbala Provincial Council is ready to give any necessary aid to Iranian companies for opening branches and building factories in Iraq, he added.
Meanwhile, Masjedi emphasized the fact that Iran will stand by Iraq in post-Daesh era.
He also stressed Iranian firms' presence in Iraq, producing Iranian goods and transferring technology.
Iranian ambassador expressed readiness for any cooperation and giving aid to economic operators of both countries.
