Iran’s trade surplus at $1.5bn

Iran’s non-oil exports in the mentioned period amounted to some 105.9 million tons worth $ 40.78 billion which shows a 0.74% growth in terms of value and a 6.36% growth in terms of weight compared to the same period last year, the report said.

The report added that Iran has imported some 28.9 million tons of commodities valued at $ 38.5 billion in the above-mentioned period showing a 21.47% growth in terms of value compared to the same period last year.

Gas condensates stood at the top of the list of Iranian exports, according to the report.

China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan and Turkey were the top five destinations for Iranian products, respectively.

China as the main buyer of Iranian products imported some 28.5 million tons of products from Iran in the 11-month period. The figure, however, shows a 9.41% decline in terms of weight year-on-year.

Iraq, which was the second main destination for Iranian products, imported some 18.3 million tons of goods from Iran in the period under question which shows 53.09% growth in terms of weight and 42.02% growth in terms of value.
