Iran's oil tanker fleet receives 2 new int'l certificates

Due to limitations in sanction era and stopping the issuance of expert and international certificates, Iranian tankers were not able to enter important ports in Europe.

All limitations have been removed since the implementation of Iran nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

National Iranian Tanker Company fleet is now able to commute in Europe, Mediterranean Sea, South Korea, China, India, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, UAE, Libya, Algeria, Turkey and also some Latin America countries.

After reviewing qualification of National Iranian Tanker Company, Norwegian Company DNV GL approved its quality and the environment aspects.

DNV GL is an international accredited registrar and classification society headquartered near Oslo, Norway.

The company currently has about 13,550 employees and 350 offices operating in more than 100 countries, and provides services for several industries, including maritime, renewable energy, oil & gas, electrification, food & beverage and healthcare.

Finally, National Iranian Tanker Company received ISO9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

Iran with 15,500,000 tons capacity has the biggest oil tanker fleet in the world.
