ITU opened on October 29 and will continue until November 16.
During the meetings, Jahromi stressed the need for promoting mutual cooperation.
Noting that central issue of the meetings was pursuance of the agreements signed earlier and development of cooperation in the field of digital economy.
It was also agreed that Iran take part in Azerbaijan Republic’s BakuTel Exhibition and Iranian companies share their experiences with their Azeri counterparts.
Referring to Indonesian communications minister’s visit to Iran in near future, Jahromi announced holding of a multilateral meeting of northern neighbors in Baku in a bid to create a stronger region in terms of information and communications technology (ICT).
