Iran's gas exports up by 60% in one year

Behzad Babazadeh, the director of international affairs at Iran's National Gas Company, said that based on Iran's Vision Plan, the country is expected to gain an 8 to 10 percent share of the world's gas trade by 2025.

He predicted that in case of an improvement in international relations, Iran's share will further increase in the next few years.

The capacity of Iran's gas production has reached 850 million cubic meters a day now which is expected to rise to 1.2 billion cubic meters a day by the end of the country's Sixth Development Plan.
