Iran’s agriculture minister confers with Ghanaian vice president

Hojjati, who is currently in Accra to attend the meeting of Iran-Ghana Joint Commission, said that Iran and Ghana boast of numerous potentials for cooperation in various fields including fertilizers, agricultural research and training.

He voiced Iran’s readiness to share its industrial and agricultural capabilities in various domains such as mechanized cultivation, modern irrigation, processing agricultural products with Ghana.

Banking problems are major issues facing the Iranian businessmen which should hopefully be solved by the Ghanaian government’s arrangements soon, Hojjati said.

The Sixth Meeting of Iran-Ghana Commission opened in the Ghanaian capital today and will end on November 16.

Located in western Africa with a population of 27 million, Ghana gained independence from Britain in 1957.
