Iranian envoy consults governor on Customs House of Turkey

In the meeting, the two sides considered bilateral economic relations and consulted on making border customs offices activities for 24 hours.

Round-the-clock activities in Iran and Turkey borders were among agreements during the two countries' presidents meeting in recent visit of President Erdogan to Tehran, which started by visit of Iran's governor of Customs House to Ankara two weeks ago.

Taherian discussed the latest borders situations, ways to develop border terminals and the issue of round-the-clock activities of customs house as well as preparing situations to present facilities for passengers in border points.

He pointed to the planning for 26th joint economic commission meeting on November in Tehran called for execution of customs agreements.

Cenap Asci said President Erdogan after returning from Tehran had ordered increase in working hours and speeding up activities of border customs offices.

Iran and Turkey have 560 kilometers common borders with three border passing points.
