Iranian Bank Mellat to engage in Armenia developmental projects

He made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador in Yerevan Kazem Sajjadi.

Bigdelli is currently in Yerevan to boost the bank's activities in Armenia capital.

In the meeting, Ambassador Sajadi referred to the growing trade and economic cooperation between Iran and Armenia and called for promoting Mellat Bank activities in the country and granting facilities to the country's developmental projects including development of hydraulic and solar power plants and other infrastructural projects.

Bigdeli, for his part, said that stepped-up presence of Iranian tradesmen in Armenia and other Eurasian states is one of the main reasons behind growth in the bank's operations in the country.

Bank Mellat branch in Armenia is one of the most active monetary and banking institutes abroad and it is prepared to offer services to the Iranian tradesmen and investors to help promote economic relations.
