'Uzbek First Deputy Prime Minister Achilbay Ramatov emphasized the activation of air transport which is directly related to tourism and issuing visa; we need to facilitate the path,' said Akhoundi who is in Tashkent.
He said that people of Iran know a lot about Uzbek cities, like Tashkent, Termez, Samarkand, and Bukhara, and likewise many Uzbeks know Iranian famous cities, such as Isfahan, Shiraz and Mashad. He added, 'Good suggestions were put forth by Uzbekistan about tourism and issuing visas, which were welcomed by Iran.
He also hoped to be able to arrange the preliminaries for Iranian President's Hassan Rouhani's trip to Uzbekistan.
Iran's minister of Roads and Urban Development arrived in Tashkent on Wednesday and is to meet the country's transport authorities and sign some agreements.
