Iran-Turkey trade ties clear, based on int'l laws: Turkish spokesman

'No evidence has yet been received on violating trade regulations by Iranian or Turkish officials,' Bozdag said on Monday.

The United States Attorney General Office has recently accused Turkey-based businessman Reza Zarrab and some former Turkish officials including ex-minister of economy Mehmet Zafer Caglayan of evading sanctions imposed on Iran and misusing US and Turkey financial and banking system.

The mentioned people have also been charged with transacting millions of dollars through US and Turkey banking network and also bribery.

'All business deals between Iran and Turkey have been performed through banks and under international regulations and the accusations are not possible,' Bozdag told reporters.

'Mentioning the name of Caglayan,' the spokesman said, 'it is crystal clear that US has changed into cat's paw of terrorist groups.'
