Some 85 companies including Paya Tadbir Pakan Co. from Iran are displaying their capabilities in the field of rail, road, air and marine transportation, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported from Baku.

In his opening speech, the Azeri minister of transport, communication and high technology .... called for collective cooperation for completion of regional transportation projects including infrastructure and multi-purpose logistical terminals.

Referring to the important role of the North-South and East-West corridors in the transportation of passengers and cargoes, he said implementation of Baku-Tbilisi railway project was of importance for the region.

Participating countries include the Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Greece.
