Iran speaker urges facilitating banking coop with Vietnam

Larijani made the remarks Tuesday in a meeting with Iranian and Vietnamese businessmen.

The political ties between Iran and Vietnam are suitable and at high level, he said.

The trade relations should also be in the same level as political ones, Larijani added.

Referring to the fact that there are some free trade zones in Iran, Larijani said that investment is easy in these areas and the products also could be exported.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to cooperation between two countries in tourism and agriculture fields, saying those products which are necessary for Iran should be identified by Vietnamese businessmen.

Iran imports cooking oil and the Vietnamese businessmen can export it to Iran, Larijani noted.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Iran-Vietnam joint trade council Chan Wan Chai said $ 170m were added to both countries exchange volume.

He also expressed hope for removing visa barrier.

He called for paving the grounds for exporting rice to Iran.
