Iran, Russia to connect capital markets

The deal was signed by the Managing Director of Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) Hossein Fahimi and his Russian counterpart Edi Estanin on the sidelines of the International Conference on Moscow Bourse on Tuesday.

Promoting constructive interaction with other central depositary companies in other countries with an aim of connecting Iran’s capital market to international markets are among the objectives of the MoU.

Exchanging specialized information on the two companies’ activities, increasing interaction, making use of each other’s experience and paving the way for boosting mutual collaboration are among the main provisions of the deal.
