The two sides exchanged views on Tehran-Moscow energy cooperation roadmap, Russian oil companies' contribution to certain Iranian oil extraction projects and infrastructure gas projects as well as multilateral cooperation in OPEC and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.

Novak said regular senior-level consultations will prepare conditions for firmer cooperation between the two countries' organizations and Iranian and Russian companies.
