Iran pursuing UK's Royal Mail decision

In his Twitter message released on Monday, Hamid Baeidinejad said that Iran the Iranian embassy in London is in contact with the related officials.

In a guide to sending items to Iran, the Royal Mail said 'due to operational issues, we are currently unable to deliver to Iran'.

It added 'we appreciate this is inconvenient and are working to find a solution to this as quickly as possible'.

Meanwhile, earlier in an unprecedented move, Royal Mail issued a statement that posting parcels to Iran has been ceased as of April 11.

The UK government ceded its shares in the company to the private sector in 2015 and bears no responsibility against the decisions made by it.

Royal Mail is a postal service and courier company in the United Kingdom, originally established in 1516.

The company's subsidiary, Royal Mail Group Limited, operates the brands Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide.
