Iran, Pakistan vow to enhance cooperation in tourism sector

In a meeting which took place in Mashad, Governor Rasheedian said the relations between Pakistan and Iran had been increasing in various sectors, including trade and tourism.

Iranian educational institutions and universities, he said, also provided scholarships to students in those fields.

The PTDC managing director said that cooperation between Pakistan and Iran will not only bring peace in the region, but the message for the whole world is that both countries defeated the narrow elements of negative perceptions.

He said that tourist flow increase will boost tourism industry of the region and the economy will accelerate by earning foreign exchange.

He said that we are making efforts to restore the train service between Pakistan and Iran and Karachi to Chabahar ferry service should also be started so that along with ground and air links, sea links will also be opened.
