Iran exports up 16%: Deputy Min.

'Export of all items in the industry sector, except electrical and electronic items and home appliances, has soared in the period,' Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mojtaba Khosro-Taj said in an export workshop in Yazd Province.

Exports of petrochemicals increased by 13 percent, of tar and other products by 15 percent and of textile industries by 33 percent in the period under study, he said.

He emphasized that to promote exports, needs analysis should be conducted on global markets and those of the neighboring countries should be conducted .

The deputy minister also highlighted the importance of identifying Iran's advantages for enhancing exports.
