Last year, some 20 million tons of petrochemical products worth $ 13 billion were exported to different markets.

Iran's overall petrochemical output in the three-month period stood at 13.2 million tons.

Iran has the capacity to produce 63 million tons of petrochemical products and with the completion of semi-complete projects, the country's output capacity will rise to 120 million tons.
