Iran exports $5.5bn non-oil products to Iraq

The figure includes 18% of Iran's total exports, Iran commercial attaché to Iraq Naser Behzad said.

He also referred to Iran-Iraq trade surplus, saying 66% of Iran’s exports are to China, Iraq, the UAE, South Korea and Afghanistan half of which go to China and Iraq.

The average cost of Iran exports to Iraq has been $ 460 since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year.

The figure is 1.2-fold more compared with exports to other countries.

Experts believe that Iraq enjoying good security and rich oil and financial sources in post-Daesh era is a suitable market for Iranian investors and economic activists.
