Addressing the Second Legal and Tax Conference of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai on Saturday, Alireza Ramezanifard pointed to China's focus on restoring the Silk Road and said given the geographical location of Iran in the Middle East and also given the new economic conditions and the existence of free trade zones and special economic zones in Iran, the two countries can take advantage of the opportunities provided for the development of commercial, economic and investment cooperation.
In introducing Shanghai Chamber of Commerce, he outlined the book of laws and investment support in Iran in Persian, English and Chinese languages, published by Shanghai Chamber of Commerce, and the benefits of investment and supportive packages for Chinese investors in Iran.
The vice chairman of Iranian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, said, “According to the laws and regulations of the Iranian Investment and Technology Organization, foreign investors can benefit from tax exemptions of 20 years, capital and profit guarantees, easy residence, and exemptions from machinery imports.”
