Iran ConMin 2018 kicks off in Tehran

Companies from Italy, Germany, Turkey, China, Russia and Poland are present in the event.

About 300 exhibitors from 15 countries presented their innovations at the 13th IranConMin in Tehran.

The positive trend kept up in 2017 since many foreign companies want to make the most of the opportunity to become established in the growth market of Iran.

China, Germany and Italy were represented with joint stands.

The largest and most international mining and construction machinery fair in the region, which took place in November 2017 attracted over 20,000 visitors.

The event is aimed to introduce investment opportunities and capacities, to create new markets, to develop exports, to attempt to promote national production, to improve business atmosphere, to transfer knowledge and technology and to create constructive competition among companies.

Addressing the opening ceremony of Iran ConMin, Head of Iran Mine House Mohammad Reza Bahraman said most of the participants have been registered by the small- and medium-sized enterprises.

A German company, which is leading European SMEs, called for establishing cooperation with Iranian companies in educational and exchanging students fields, he added.

He also referred to signing MoU between an Australian mineral company and Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO).
