Iran can be China's biggest car partner: Chinese businessman

'During the last decade, China has been able to promote its car brands,' Jiandong Han of BAIC Motor Corporation told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) at Tehran Auto Show 2017 on Monday.

Iran enjoys a complete car manufacturing technology and Iranians have high potentials in car industry, he added referring to his company's planning to attend Iran's market.

'Chinese firms are after taking advantage of Iranian car manufacturers' capabilities and also making Iran the exports hub of Chinese products,' Han said.

The second edition of Tehran Auto Show opened in the Iranian capital on Sunday. Some 48 domestic and foreign companies from 16 countries are participating in the event.

Germany, France, China, India, Austria, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, UK, Spain, Italy and Greece are among the foreign countries whose companies are present at Tehran Auto Show.

The exhibit, which is being held in an area of 6,500 square meters, will continue until December 1.
