Iran, Austria renew energy pact

'With regards to the existing agreements between Iran's Ministry of Petroleum and Austria's Ministry of Energy and Sustainable Development about energy, the pact about petroleum, training and investment in renewable energies was renewed,' wrote Amir-Hossein Zamani-nia in the government website.

Referring to the negotiations about oil, Zamani-nia wrote, 'The talks between Iran and OPEC chief started after the last OPEC meeting and are still going on in Austria.'

'Austria considers the Caspian Sea littoral countries and Iran export natural gas to Europe; some negotiations have taken place regarding the issue.'
