Iran, Afghanistan need to broaden economic cooperation

Mohammad Salim Farahi reiterated on Monday on the sideline of a visit to a factory in industrial city of Birjand that due to lack of marketing and information, 'we have not been able to obtain quality products from the Islamic Republic of Iran'.

Head of the Farah Provincial Bureau of Transportation underlined that in southern Khorasan, there are various capacities, including high-quality products of the concrete factory, which is hoped that with the arrival of this product in Afghanistan better quality buildings will be built in Farah province, Nimroz and Herat.

'Farah province is between two deprived provinces of Herat and Nimroz. Farah province has not been able to use the export power of the Islamic Republic of Iran in addition to having a problem with electricity shortages,' he stated.
