Iran and Indonesia trade exchanges have witnessed 2.5 times increase compared to the previous year, Octaviano Alimuddin said during his visit to Iran's Aras Free Trade-Industrial Zone Organization.
He said that the level of economic cooperation between Tehran and Caracas has reached 800 million dollars and there are capacities to increase it to one billion dollars.
There are good grounds for cooperation between Iran and Indonesia in various fields, including petrochemistry and non-oil industries, the Indonesian ambassador said.
He noted that Iran is a major transit route for regional and international transit.
