Goods transit to Qatar discussed by Iranian, Turkish ministers

During the meeting, both sides discussed transiting goods to Qatar and Iraq as well as the problem of Iranian drivers whose vehicles have been damaged by terrorists.

Turkey is now interested in transiting some goods through Iran to Iraq which were previously transferred through Iraqi Kurdistan region.

Akhundi together with Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri is in Turkey to attend D-8 Summit which is underway in Istanbul.

Iran will soon hold expert road transportation committee, he said.

Launching Iran-Turkey passengers' train was also among topics discussed by both sides, he added.
