He made the remarks in a meeting with Managing Director of Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Sadeq Najafi here on Monday.
Scholz said Austria does not have oil and natural resources, but its main capital is manpower capabilities.
He added that Austria welcomes bolstering cooperation between the two countries and ready to establish bilateral interaction between small- and medium-sized industries.
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Sadeq Najafi pointed to 85,000 industrial units in the country, and said that 92 percent of these units are small industries with occupation of 1.3 million persons.
Considering share of 97 percent of small industries in Austria, Najafi called for using experiences of Austrian industrialists in improving situation of Iranian small- and medium-sized industries.
He added that effective interactions between small industrial units of Iran and Austria will create appropriate atmosphere for joint venture investment and will increase export exchanges between the two states.
Najafi said the ISIPO aims for 3 billion dollars export for small and medium size industrial units this year.
Following the elimination of sanctions and implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Austria was the first country, which sent a large delegation to Iran headed by Austrian president and Iran also sent a 120-man delegation to Vienna and good agreements were signed between the two countries.
