Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi made the remarks in a meeting with Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Seyyed Zia Hashemi on Wednesday, adding that “the enemies of the Islamic Revolution use the media unjustly against the Islamic Republic and the ideals of the revolution, but in this media war, the enemy will be squeezed and fortunately, most of the media in the system, including IRNA, are not silent and involved in this war.
“Good achievements in this media war have been achieved, but more efforts are needed in this area, because the area of media warfare today is extremely complex, and the slightest delay can cause a lot of damage,” he said.
