
Making operational decisions of former meetings as well as considering and reviewing topics of Friday meeting were discussed during experts meeting of 10 member-states of ECO on Thursday.
Heads of privatization bodies of ECO are to meet on Friday.
Deputy Head of Iran's Privatization Organization Davoud Khani said on Friday meeting it is supposed that issues like ceding infrastructures in departments of water, electricity and energy to the private sector, removing problems in ceding public units to private sector and ways to absorb investment, especially foreign investment, to be discussed.
He pointed to complex problems in privatization process and expressed the hope that sharing information and experiences lead to be coordinated in ECO region.
ECO was founded by Iran, Turkey and Pakistan in 1985. ECO has 10 member-states now. Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Azarbaijan Republic, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are ECo members.
