Czech Republic, Iran engaged in talks on Volkswagen industry

In a meeting with Hamedan province’s economic activists, he added that Iran and Czech Republic have had trade ties since 1920, as many Czech economic activists visited Iran to undertake infrastructure activities.

Czech Republic is the fourth country to export industrial machinery and home appliances to Iran, he said.

Most of the Czech companies are interested in coming to Iran, as it boasts of numerous capacities for investment, he said.

The Czech envoy also called for boosting of tourism relations with Hamedan province, saying that due to its wide-scale capacities it was added to the list of tourism destinations of his country.

Head of Hamedan Chamber of Commerce, for his part, said that the province is ready for exporting agricultural products and handicrafts to the country.

Ali Asghar Zebardast added that Hamedan province is one of the ancient provinces dating back to 2,500 years BC and it is known in the West as the first capital of Medes and Achaemenid dynasties.
