Head of Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistant of Iran, Ali-Mohammad Moussavi, who attended the 'Second Belt and Road Forum'for International Cooperation', said, 'Taking the opportunity, the Iranian delegation presented more than 300 projects and plans to the prospective Chinese and foreign investors on the sidelines of the forum.'
Referring to the history of China's participation in Iranian projects, the official told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday that at the forum a number of projects on transportation and energy were introduced to the Chinese investors.
He also noted that Iran has been one of the main stations along the ancient trade corridor known as the Silk Road, the official said that Iran welcomes Chinese investment in various fields.
Moussavi also emphasized that the investment capacities in Iran are good opportunities for the investors of the two countries, adding that 'Iran will provide the investors with facilities to support them'.
'The Iranian delegation, headed by Iran's minister of economy, has expressed readiness for joining the Chinese initiative,' he added.
'The Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation' (April 25-28) with delegations from 110 countries was held in Beijing.
