The vessel was getting berthed in the Iranian port when it started sinking, an informed source told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

It was loaded with hundreds of containers.

According to witnesses, the crew jumped into the sea for their lives but they are feared dead.

The reason for the incident is not clear yet.
