Bushehr Customs exports hit 11m tons

Some 7.2 million tons of non-oil products worth $ 3.4b were exported during the mentioned period, said Behrouz Qara Beigi to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
The figure experienced 11% growth in weight and 38% rise in value compared with the same period the previous year, he added.

About 252,000 tons of commodities were imported through Bushehr Customs which had 35% fall compared with the same period last year.

Non-oil exports included gas condensates, petrochemicals, cement, fish, shrimp, agricultural products, gypsum, and vegetables that were exported to China, Unite Arab Emirates, (UAE), South Korea, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and New Zealand, he said.

Referring to the current infrastructure in Dayyer Customs and its nearest sea distance to Qatar, he added that it is the second largest customs exporting to Qatar after Bushehr customs.

Dayyer Port is located 200 kilometers south of the capital of Bushehr province.
