Brazil eyeing Iran's petrochemical products

'We are very keen on importing urea, ammonia and bitumen (asphalt) from Kermanshah,' said Brazilian Ambassador to Iran Rodrigo de Azeredo Santos in a meeting with authorities from the western Iran province of Kermanshah on Sunday.

Kermanshah Governor Housahng Bazvand stressed that there are at least three petrochemical companies in Iran that are ready to export products, including urea, ammonia, polyethylene and sulphuric acid to Brazil.

“There are plans in place to build two other petrochemical companies in Kermanshah too,” the provincial governor noted.
