One of the members of Ahvaz Islamic City Council Mohammad Hadi Qanavat said on Sunday that Khouzestan economy is state-run, so support packages should be defined for investors to encourage them to be present in Khouzestan, especially Ahvaz.

Qanavat said based on the 6th Five-Year Plan business should improve and officials, especially representatives of insurance, taxation and law should facilitate labor for investors.

He said among other topics for discussion were sewage treatment, construction of parks, tourism, smart city, establishment of trade centers, and vertical parkings.
