Afghanistan to help Uzbekistan-Iran railway connection

'Afghanistan will cooperate in connection of Central Asian railway track with Iran as a means of access to the Persian Gulf,' Mortazavi told a press conference in Kabul.

He said in the meeting of Iranian and Afghan presidents on the sidelines of Astana meeting, the two countries agreed on cooperation in trade and transit, railway and its connection with Iran as a means of Central Asia's access to the Persian Gulf.
