Opening Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan will lead to promotion of economic and political relations between Tehran and Kabul and will enhance Iran and Afghanistan trade exchange, Davood Sultanzoy, advisor to Afghan president said.

Chabahar port has the best situation for transit of commodities from Afghanistan to other parts of the world, he added.

He called for activation of Hirmand-Chabahar transit route, noting that it can boost trade exchanges between the two states.
