“Before the victory of the revolution, we had 19 dams in the country that were designed by contractors and foreign consultants, but thanks to this system, the number of major dams has reached 172, which indicates national determination and our ability,' Mohammad Hajj Rasouliha said in Rasht on Thursday.

He pointed to the construction of dams like Ayatollah Behjat Dam in Gilan in recent years. By constructing this dam, concerns about water supply in Rasht and other marginal cities were resolved.
