Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Sadeq Najafi said 28 units are located inside blocks and industrial zones.

Investments made in the projects totals 2.8 billion dollar, he added.

One of the units is a knowledge-based one that is under construction with a budget of over 2,000 billion rials.

He went on to say that 31,500 production units will be renovated, reconstructed or turned into knowledge-based ones in the next three years.

From among 85,000 units, 92% are small and medium-sized, Najafi noted.
