Yazd ICC thanks gov't for commemorating Zoroaster

In a message, issued on Thursday, Niknam said, 'I am thankful to Presidential Aide for Minorities' Affairs, who attends such ceremonies along with non-Muslim Iranians annually, and also the wise (Foreign Affairs) Minister (Mohammad-Javad Zarif).'

On Wednesday, Zarif posted a message on his Twitter account on the anniversary of death of ancient Iranian prophet Zoroaster.

'In commemoration of the passing of Zoroaster, great Iranian Prophet, composer of the Gathas and founder of principles of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds,' Zarif wrote.

Zoroaster or Ashu Zarathushtra, was an ancient Persian prophet and spiritual leader and ethical philosopher who taught a spiritual philosophy of self-realization and realization of the Divine.
